NEST 2025 Minimum Percentile Required for Admission
The detailed NEST 2025 minimum percentile required for 5-year integrated MSc Programme admission for General category is 95 percentile, OBC category is 90 percentile, and is lower for other categories.
NEST 2025 Minimum Percentile Required for Admission: The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, will conduct the admission process for the 5-year integrated MSc Programme in NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai. To be eligible, candidates should meet NEST 2025 minimum percentile required for admission along with other criteria. As per the admission pattern, candidates will have to qualify NEST 2025 exam and meet the minimum required percentile to be included in the merit list. Based on the merit list the admissions will be conducted. With the NEST 2025 results on July 10, the admissions are expected to begin soon. Here are the category-wise minimum required percentile to be eligible to participate in the counselling process.

NEST 2025 Minimum Percentile Required for Admission
Candidates are required to fulfill NEST 2025 Minimum Percentile Required for Admission. As per the official notification, candidates are required to obtain:

| General | 95 percentile |
| OBC | 90 percentile |
| SC/ST/Divyangjan (PwD) | 75 percentile |
As per the pattern, candidates are expected to meet ‘Section–wise’ Minimum Admissible Score (SMAS) and Overall minimum percentile. For SMAS, candidates should obtain 20% of the average of the best 100 scores in that section for each section. Candidates from the General and OBC category are required to obtain 90% of the SMAS score, and for ST/SC and Divyangjan candidates, the required score is 50% of the SMAS score. Candidates should meet both the minimum required SMAS score and NEST 2025 Minimum Percentile to be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Another aspect that is essential aspect that candidates should fulfil is the minimum required scores in the board exams or qualifying examination. All criteria should be fulfilled to proceed with the admission process for NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai.
