NEST 2025 Seat Matrix for NISER and CEBS: NISER Bhubaneswar and the Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai, have released the NEST 2025 Seat matrix for NISER and CEBS for admission to the academic year 2025-26. Candidates who have qualified the NEST 2025 exam and are eligible to participate in the counselling process can now check the detailed seat distribution for both NISER and CEBS. The seat matrix provides a category-wise breakdown of available seats at each institution. For NISER, a total of 200 seats are available. In these 101 seats were allocated to candidates from the General category. In the case of CEBS, there are 57 seats available. Out of which 23 are reserved for General category candidates. It is important to note that NISER does not have any seats allocated for EWS candidates separately.

NEST 2025 Seat Matrix for NISER and CEBS

Candidates should note the number of seats available for admission to the NISER and CEBS through NEST 2025, as mentioned in below table:

There will be 5% seats in each category reserved for the Divyangjan (PwD) candidates for both NiSER and CEBS. Note that, as per existing government regulations, two supplementary seats are reserved at both NISER and CEBS for the candidates who are eligible and belong to the state of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh.
