NEST Answer Key 2025 OUT: NISER Bhubaneswar and Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai, has released the NEST answer key 2025 on June 22, 2025 , for the exam that took place on the same day. The answer key is released through the official website, nestexam.in, via PDF format. Along with the answer key, the authority has also released the NEST response sheet. The candidates who have appeared for the exam are only to download the response sheet of NEST 2025 through their respective login portal. The NEST 2025 answer key contains the information regarding all questions and their responses in the PDF format. The candidates can cross-check their responses with the provisional answer key released by the authority. Through this, the candidates can access their performance and evaluation of their score before the actual results of NEST 2025.

The candidates will have an opportunity to raise objections if they find any answer to be wrong in the answer key and mark the changes with a proper and valid document submission to the authority via their personal registration account in the online portal of NEST 2025 before the deadline. The candidates must pay Rs 200 to challenge a question, and note that this amount will not be refunded. The objections will close by June 25, 2025.
Before proceeding, the marking system of NEST 2025 is considered, 2.5 marks will be for every correct single multiple choice question, while no negative marking for them. Additionally, 4 marks will be added for each MCQ correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer. After considering all the objections raised by the candidates, the result will be published on July 10, 2025.
