The conducting authority will be releasing NIFT Second Seat Allotment 2025 on July 18 through the official website. The seat allotment is expected to be released by either 12 PM or between 6 PM and 8 PM.
NIFT Second Seat Allotment 2025: According to the official notification, the NIFT Second Seat Allotment 2025 will be published on July 18, 2025. Based on the previous timeline, the seat allotment is expected to be released by 12 PM . In case of any delays due to technical issues, it might be released anytime between 6 PM to 8 PM . After the announcement of seat allotment, the candidates can download the seat allotment letters through their login credentials at the respective portal nift.admissions.nic.in . After that, the candidates should submit their willingness for the allotted seat. In this process, they must choose to freeze, float, or slide by selecting one option within the stipulated time.
Following the willingness of allotment, the candidates must pay the admission fee, which is mentioned on the allotment order, from July 18 to July 21, 2025. The physical reporting by the candidates will be on July 30, 2025.

Following the release of NIFT Second Seat Allotment 2025, candidates who are not satisfied with their allotted seats either in round 1 or round 2 will have to choose the withdrawal option on or before July 21, 2025, till 11:59 PM. The candidates will get a refundable amount of the admission fee rather than the registration fee of Rs 9300. If any candidates fail to make payment or withdraw, then their seat will be treated as vacant. If the candidate is willing to accept the seat temporarily, then they may select Float or Slide until a better seat is allotted in the next round.
