NIRF Engineering Rankings 2025 LIVE:The Ministry of Education has releasedNIRF Rankings 2025for Engineering Colleges today, September 4, at 11 AM. The list shall include the list of top 200 engineering colleges in India. This year, IIT Madras and IIT Delhi bagged the top 1 and 2 spots, retaining their positions from the previous year. However, Jadavpur University, which usually ranks in the top 10 every year, has slipped from the top 10 spot. While the top 100 institutes will have an individual rank, the other institutes are placed under the101-150 and 151-200 bands. Students can go through this live blog for the list of all engineering colleges ranked under the NIRF 2025 engineering category.

In 2024 and 2023, IIT Madras bagged the top spot in the engineering category, while IIT Delhi retained the 2nd spot. On the other hand, IIT Bombay and IIT Kanpur were in 3rd and 4th positions in 2024 and 2023, respectively. Form engineering universities, Jadavpur University was ranked in the top 10, while VIT University was placed under the 11th rank.
