NIT Calicut invites Applications for Visvesvaraya Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2025: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut has officially released its notification inviting applications for the Visvesvaraya Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2025. The fellowship, sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, offers researchers an opportunity to work across various engineering domains. Interested candidates can apply online through the institute’s official website, with the last date for submission set as August 26, 2025, up to 5 PM. The fellowship is tenable for a period of one year and provides a monthly stipend of INR 1,08,393.

Selected fellows will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced faculty at NIT Calicut. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution.

• Hold a PhD from a recognised university, completed within the last five years.
• Have a consistently good academic record, with first-class in all preceding degrees.
• Have not completed their PhD from NIT Calicut (host institution).
• Demonstrate peer-reviewed publications, achievements, recognitions, and a research proposal directed towards industry-related problems.
