NTA adds 2 New Exam Cities for NIFT Entrance Exam 2026: Check latest notice here

NIFT Entrance Exam 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made a big leap in making the NIFT Entrance Exam 2026 more accessible for its aspirants by increasing the number of examination centres. The NTA introduced two new exam cities, for the state of Gujarat, the new exam city is Vapi , and for the union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, the new exam city is Daman . With this, the number of national exam cities for the NIFT has now increased to 102 . The NIFT 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 8, 2026 , and candidates who have already applied can choose these new cities during the application correction window from January 12 to 14, 2026, if they wish to update their exam location.

NIFT Entrance Exam  Application 2026: Who Can Change Exam City?

Candidates who have already applied for NIFT 2026 can update their exam city during the correction window, as per NTA rules.

• Only candidates who submitted the NIFT 2026 application form can change the city.
  
• The option is available during the official correction window only.
  
• Applicants can select the newly added cities (Vapi and Daman) if needed.
  
• Changes can be made by logging into the candidate portal.
  
• City change is subject to the availability of seats in that city.
  
• After the correction window closes, no further changes will be allowed.

How to Change Exam City for NIFT 2026

Candidates can change their Exam City online on the official NIFT/NTA website in the Correction Window.

Step 1: Go to the official website and open the NIFT 2026 application login page.

Step 2: Sign in with your application Number and password/DOB.

Step 3: Click on the “Correction in Application Form” link.

Step 4: Locate the Edit Exam City Preference option.

Step 5: Choose the new city from the recast list.

Step 6: Check the information carefully before you submit it.

Step 7: Save the changes and download/print the acknowledgement page.

Step 8: Sign out and keep the updated information for future use.
