The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for the admission to BAMS/ BUMS courses. The candidates can check the detailed selection and counselling process here.
Selection Process: -
- The selection of the candidates will be based on inter se merit.
- The candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in the entrance examination to get eligibility to seek admission.
- A separate merit or rank list will be published on the official website and counselling process follows later.
Counselling Process: -
- Initially, the candidates need to check the merit list or rank list on the official website.
- The counselling will be conducted rank-wise and the candidates need to attend the counselling on the stipulated date and time.
- At the time of counselling, the candidates have to exercise the options.
- It is advisable that the candidates have to choose multiple options.
- Depending upon the rank and availability of seat, the candidates will be allotted seats.
- If any candidate fails to appear for counselling due to unavoidable circumstances, he/ she have to represent someone to the counselling with a self-attested letter.
- The counselling fee is Rs. 500.
- The final allotment will be published on the official website as well as two leading newspapers of Jammu and Kashmir.
