Skills Development Center Open at AG&SGS Degree College

As a part of Skills development program initiated by Krishna University, the degree colleges in Krishna District are coming forward to set up skills development centers at their colleges.As a part of this initiative,AG&SGS Degree College, Vuyyuru, Krishna District inaugurated Skills development center on6-April-2016. The skills development center was inaugurated byMr.Samsun, Resource person, Krishna University.

The Skills development center will provide Soft Skills training for the final year degree students of the college and the training is given by Mr.Samsun. Address the students on the occasion of the inauguration; he said, “This program focuses on the development of skills like Soft Skills, Communication Skills, Personality development, Time Management etc., The training session will continue till 17-April-2016. After the training sessions, the students are sent for placement drive conducted by Krishna University. The main motive of the program is assurance of placements for final year students. A total number of 15 multinational companies will take part in the placement drive conducted by Krishna University in the last week of April”.

College principal K.Venkateswrlu thanked Krishna University for selecting their college under this initiative. 60 final year students of college will take part in training session under this initiative. The inaugural session was attended by, College resource person, G.Veeraju, print and electronic media.
