Students of Guntur Shine in ANU PGCET

Students of Guntur secured top ranks in the ANU PGCET-2016 examination conducted by the Acharya Nagarjuna University. The results were released on 4-May-2016.ANU PGCET is an entrance examination conducted by the Acharya Nagarjuna University for admission into PG courses at the University and affiliated colleges. This year, girls outshined boys and secured Top-3 ranks. Around 7400 students appeared for ANU PGCET - 2016. The following students of Guntur secured Top ranks in ANU PGCET-2016:-

Chemistry toppers:-

• P. Lakshmi Kumari secured 12^thRank
• S. Bharath secured 17^thRank
• N. Swapna secured 24^thRank
• Siva Kumari secured 29^thRank
• S. Narayana secured 35^thRank
• B. Suvarna secured 40^thRank

Physics toppers:-

• N. Gayatri secured 7^thRank
• M. Bhargavi secured 23^rdRank and
• K. Anitha secured 27^thRank

Mathematics toppers:-

• R. Shekar secured 8^thRank
• R. Prathap Reddy secured 17th Rank
• Bhanu Reddy secured 22^ndRank
• D. Charan Kumar secured 27^thRank
• Lakshmi Kumari secured 40^thRank.

This year more students attended the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics examination. Around 4500 students attended these tests. Whereas Arts received very less response as 2,900 students attended the examination. The toppers were congratulated by the Mayor of Guntur and others.
