The Telangana Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG ECET) is administered by Osmania University in association with the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGSCHE). Diploma and BSc (Mathematics) graduates must register for the exam without a late fee beforeApril 18, 2026, to avoid technical glitches. TG ECET is one of the most important entrance examinations for lateral entry admission into the second year of BE, B.Tech., and BPharmacy courses in various colleges.

According to theofficial TG ECET User Guide, students must have the following personal, educational, and document-based information ready before they begin their application forms. Any discrepancy in this regard may cause difficulties later on.
- Valid Aadhaar Number and Basic Personal Information
- Hall ticket number of the qualifying diploma or degree examination
- Details of the qualifying examination, branch, year of passing, and marks
- Caste certificate details (if applicable) for SC, ST, BC, or EWS candidates
- Income Certificate Details for Eligibility for Fee Reimbursement
- Scanned photograph and signature according to the specified format given in the user guide.
