TG ICET Special Phase Counselling 2025 Begins Today; Who is eligible to exercise web options?
As per the official schedule, the registration process for TG ICET Special Phase Counselling 2025 will be conducted today, October 5. Those who successfully register will be able to exercise their options between October 6 and 7, 2025.
TG ICET Special Phase Counselling 2025: The Telangana Council of Higher Education is set to begin the TG ICET Special Phase Counselling 2025 registration starting today, October 5. To take part in this round, candidates must verify their eligibility, enter basic personal details, pay the processing fee, and book a slot for certificate verification. This process is mandatory for those who did not undergo certificate verification in the earlier counselling phases.
After successful slot booking, certificate verification will take place on October 6, 2025 . On the same day, the web options entry portal will open, allowing candidates to select their preferred colleges and courses. The last date to enter and freeze web options is October 7, 2025. Importantly, even candidates who participated in earlier rounds must re-enter their options and finalise their choices by the given deadline. The provisional seat allotment, based on the submitted web options, is expected to be announced on or before October 10, 2025.
TG ICET Special Phase Counselling 2025: Eligibility Criteria for Exercising Web Options
Web options will be made available to eligible and successfully registered candidates for TG ICET Special Phase Counselling 2025. The eligibility criteria for exercising web options are as follows:
- Candidates who have not yet obtained a seat but have completed certificate verification are eligible for the special phase counselling.
- Candidates who have not exercised web options yet but have completed certificate verification are eligible.
- Candidates who have opted seat upgradation of their allotted seats with the completion of online and physical reporting.
- The other eligible candidates exercise web options.
On the other hand, Candidates who cancelled their seats in the first or second round are not eligible to participate in the web options for the special phase. If a candidate chooses new web options and is allotted a seat based on those choices, their previously allotted seat will be cancelled and given to another candidate.
