TS PGECET 2017: Second Phase Counselling Schedule Released

The Telangana State Council for Higher Education has released a detailed notification and schedule for the second round counselling process for TS PGECET 2017. The counselling process is being conducted for the admission to M.Pharmacy, M.Arch, M.Tech, M.E and Pharma.D courses. The details about the second phase counselling process are elaborated below.

General Instructions: -

• Candidates who completed the certificate verification process during the first phase counselling can directly exercise the web options for Round 2.
• The candidates who did not complete the verification of certificates must visit the respective helpline centres. They can exercise web options only after the certificate verification process.
• The candidates must note that the preliminary preference will be given to GATE and GPAT qualified candidates. Vacant seats (if any) will be allotted to the TS PGECET 2017 qualified candidates.
• The seat allotment is purely based on rank and merit.
• At the help line centres, the candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000 to complete the certificate verification process. However, this amount is only applicable to candidates belonging to General category.
• The counselling fee for SC/ ST candidates is Rs. 500.

Who can participate in TS PGECET 2017 Second Round Counselling Process?

• All those candidates who secured a seat in M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Pharmacy/ M.Arch/ Pharma.D courses and wish to move to another college must take part in the second round counselling.
• Candidates who did not secure a seat or participate in the initial round of counselling can also take part in the second round.
• Candidates who failed to report to allotted institute and pay the prescribed fee after the first round can also participate in Round 2.

Details about Helpline Centres: -

Candidates who need to complete the certificate verification process can visit any of the following helpline centres: -

• Kakatiya University, Warangal
• A.V. College of Arts, Science and Commerce located near Gaganmahal, Hyderabad.

Certificates to be Submitted: -

• Aadhaar card (Xerox copy)
• Income Certificate issued only after January 1, 2017
• Transfer Certificate
• Residence Certificate issued by Mandal Revenue Officer (M.R.O)
• Integrated Community Certificate (only for ST/SC/BC students)
• Residence Certificate
• Study Certificates (Class 10 to Graduation)
• SSC Certificate (Class 10)
• Degree Certificate and Marks Memo
• PGECET 2017 Hall Ticket
• PGECET 2017 Rank card
• GATE/ GPAT Score or Rank Card
