UGC NET JRF Cutoff Dec 2024:The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC NET Dec 2024 cutoff along with result on its official websiteugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates who appeared in the exam held from January 3 to 27, 2025 were able to check UGC NET December 2024 cutoff on the official website. The national level exam is conducted twice a year to find out the eligible candidates for the posts of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or PhD only candidates. The aspirants securing more than the UGC NET JRF minimum qualifying marks will be entitled to appear for the next stage of the admission process.

The NTA UGC NET June 2024 cutoff for Political Science has 515 candidates qualifying for JRF, as against 175 students qualifying for JRF in the UGC NET Dec 2024 cutoff. Further, students must know that the highest cutoff for the JRF post in the UGC NET June 2024 exam was for the UR category.

The cutoff marks are calculated out of 300 by the board, and minimum passing marks differ with category. In order to qualify for the exam, general category candidates must secure at least 120 marks out of 300. For candidates from OBC, SC, ST, PWD, and Transgender, they must attain a minimum of 105 marks out of 300 taken collectively in both Papers 1 and 2.The cutoff for JRF post is always highest followed by the cutoff for the post of Assistant Professor and at last PhD only aspirants.
