UP board X, XII Results to be Out on May 15

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will announce the the class X and XII 2016 results on May 15 at 12.30 pm. After the formal declaration by the Board, students will be able to check the UP Board 10th Result 2016 and UP Board 12th Result 2016 online on different result websites.

Confirming this, UP board secretary Shail Yadav said, we have decided to declare the results on the same day. Earlier, the results were supposed to come on two different dates between May 15 and 20.''

This year, more than 68 lakh students of UP are keenly awaiting the declaration of UP Board Result. Of the total number of candidates, 37,49,977 have appeared for the UP High School Board Exam, which was held from 18 February to 9 March, 2016. On the other hand, 30,71,892 have participated in the UP Intermediate Board Exam in all the three streams of arts, commerce and science conducted from 18 February to 21 March, 2016.

By announcing May 15 as the confirmed date for UP Board Result 2016, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has kept its track record of declaring results on time intact. Last year, the UP Board Results for both 10th and 12th students were announced on May 17.

Almost 1.08 lakh class X, XII students took the exam in Lucknow. Out of this, 60,223 are registered in class X and 47,478 in class XII.
