The pass percentage for BPharma is 85.1, for MBA 98.4 and for BArch 99.95. Kidwai said that they had made the entrance examination completely transparent from this year. “Most of the students are dissatisfied when the results are declared so we have made provision under which the papers of the first 100 toppers can be viewed by anyone and of the others on demand,” he said.

The minister also announced incentives for the first five toppers in the BTech course for both girls and boys. “In the case of the BTech courses, we will waive the fees of the first five toppers in both girls and boys categories for one year and the examination fee of the first 100 toppers will be reimbursed in the first year,” he said. Addressing the mediapersons, Abdul Kalam Technical University Vice-Chancellor Vinay Pathak said counselling would take held from June 24 to July 27.

“Five rounds of counselling will be held from June 24 to July 27 after which there will be an on-the-spot counselling for seats of the government colleges,” he said. Pathak said that all SC and ST candidates who wanted a scholarship would have to take part in the counselling. He said they were creating a portal with the help of NIC, Delhi in which the first page would give details of the colleges affiliated to the AKTU, details of fees of colleges, their ranking based on external results, placements and other data.
