Vignan University Organize Vastrotsav'16

The department of Textile Engineering of Vignan Universityorganized Vastrotsav-2016 a National level fest related to Textile Engineering on 24-March-2016. The fest was inaugurated by the vice-chancellor of University, Dr.Tangaraj.

Addressing the students he said, “Vignan University is the only university in Andhra Pradesh which offers Textile Engineering”. He welcomed the students of various colleges from various states to the fest.

On this occasion, various competitions like Paper Presentation, Fashion Show and Group dance were conducted. Around 40 students from various states came forward to participate in the competitions.

Winners of Paper Presentation;

• JDEET College, Maharashtra bagged first place
• Vignan University bagged Second place

Winners of fashion show;

• Jawaharlal Dadra Institute of Technology, Maharashtra bagged first place
• Vignan University bagged second place

Popular singer of Telugu, Sandeep enthralled the audience with his singing. Students from Goa, Uttarakhand, Agra, Telangana, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Tamilnadu participated in the competitions and showcased their talents.
