Though no official notice has yet been released by the board, based on the previous years' trends, it is expected that the process of registration for WBJEE 2026 could start anywhere betweenJanuary 16 to January 26 in 2026.
WBJEE is a state-level entrance exam held for admission to undergraduate programs in engineering, technology, architecture, and pharmaceuticals offered by universities, government colleges, and self-financed institutions affiliated with West Bengal.

Eligibility Criteria for WBJEE 2026
Here is the basic criteria for candidates to qualify for WBJEE 2025.
Applicant must be at least 17 years old as of 31 December 2025.
No upper age limit, except for Marine Engineering: 25 Years.
Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognised board.
Mandatory Subjects: Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/B
Must secure a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in 10+2
Must be an Indian citizen.
A West Bengal domicile is required in reserved seats as well as government colleges.
Candidates must provide valid documents and identity proofs during the application.
After the release of the application form, applicants will be able to apply online via the official WBJEEB website. The basic steps for registration are online registration, entry of personal and academic information, uploading of photographs and signatures, and submission of the application fee.
