The authority is yet to confirm the official date of the first phase seat allotment; initially, it was determined to be released on July 4, 2025. Due to the fee reimbursement issue, the authority is delaying in release of the TG POLYCET seat allotment this year. More specifically, the private colleges are aiming to increase the admission fees this year compared to last year. Later, the High Court passed a bill that the colleges will not be allowed to raise the fees more than Rs 39,000. In this regard, the govt. Confirmed that an amount of Rs 14900 as reimbursement fees will be paid to the colleges.
Apart from the above-mentioned issue, a major issue has been identified behind the delay in releasing the seat allotment. The web options data (which were entered by the candidates) have been deleted from the portal, and the SBTET is trying to retrieve it. If they fail, then again the choice filling process will be conducted, since the authority will release the TG POLYCET seat allotment based on the choices made by the candidates, their rank in the qualifying exam, and the available seats in the colleges.
