AMARAVATI: AP SSC English Exam 2026, scheduled to be conducted on March 21, has been postponed. The latest decision of the AP Government on the Eid-Ul-Fitr (Ramzan) holiday is the reason for that. Earlier, the holiday for Eid-Ul-Fitr (Ramzan) was confirmed as March 20, and March 21 was considered a working day. Eid-Ul-Fitr 2026 will be celebrated in India on Saturday, March 21, as the Shawwal crescent moon was not sighted on Thursday evening, March 19. After careful consideration, AP Government issued a GO (Government Order) stating that March 21 shall be observed as a holiday for all schools, colleges, government departments, etc.

AP SSC English 2026 New Exam Date

The General Administration Department (GAD) of AP declared a holiday on March 21 on account of Ramzan. AP Education Minister Nara Lokesh has officially tweeted about the postponement of the English exam.

AP SSC English Exam 2026 gets postponed, what will happen to the Maths exam on March 23 (Monday)?

As the AP SSC English exam gets postponed, there will not be any change in the exam date of the Maths exam. The Mathematics exam shall be conducted on March 23 as per the schedule, and the English exam will happen after the Social exam.

AP SSC English Exam 2026 was initially scheduled on March 20, and the date was later revised to March 21, considering the Ramzan holiday. However, the Government might have to change the exam date again as Ramzan will now be observed on March 21.
