Opening up broader opportunities for students, the Toronto School of Management (TSoM) and Niagra College have formed a new partnership. The agreement between the two top tier institutions of Canada will facilitate collaborative international projects and partnerships. Additionally, a few selected college credentials will be delivered at TSoM.
Sean Kennedy, the President of Niagra College, stated that the partnership with the Management School owned by Global University Systems will be beneficial to their broader strategy to create new global opportunities for students and support long-term enrolment stability and growth.
In his statements, Kennedy emphasised the importance and commitment of maintaining the high standards for their programmes and services, TSoM has displayed as well. Further, Kennedy stated that the partnership is the result of their entrepreneurial spirit while they determine different global partnership opportunities while supporting the core operations in Niagra.
The partnership will allow students from Niagra College to pursue study abroad programmes, participate in co-op placements, exchanges and overseas field studies, that operate within the 42 international locations under the GUS network.

Additionally, the pathways programmes between diploma programmes at NC to GUS programmes along with global business and education development programmes will also be made available under the agreement. Included in the partnerships are English, Training, Technical and Vocation Education as subsequent language projects, internationally.
The agreement will allow four of the Niagra College programmes that will exclusively be offered at TSoM. The programmes included are Graduate Certificate programmes in Hospitality and Tourism, International Business Management and Human Resources Management along with Business General programmes, starting Spring 2021.

Cyndi McLeod, the CEO of GUS Canada, stated that the aim of the collaboration is to provide the students with the opportunity to pursue high-quality education, training them to work as Ontarios workforce while also fulfilling the international student demand for the postsecondary programmes at Niagra College.
