Vinayaka Missions University (VMU), Salem invites applications for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Master of Physiotherapy (MPT), Master of Science (M.Sc) in Nursing and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) for the session 2016.
Eligibility Criteria
MD/MS Programs: Candidates should possess a recognized MBBS degree or its equivalent and have completed Internship (CRRI). Candidate should have registered his/her name with anyone of the State Medical Councils
MDS Program: Candidate should have passed BDS degree examination of any recognized university and obtained permanent registration from any of the State Dental Councils.
MPT Program: Candidates should have a graduation degree in BPT or B.Sc (PT).
M.Pharm Program: Candidates should possess a recognized B.Pharm degree.
M.Sc (Nursing) Program:
The candidate should be a registered nurse and registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council.
Candidate should have passed in B.Sc (Nursing) / B.Sc Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) from a institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council..
How to Apply -
Candidates can obtain the application form from the university in person on payment of cash or can also be downloaded from their official website.
The filled in application form must be submitted along with a DD for the prescribed amount drawn in favour of " Vinayaka Missions University, Salem".
Cost of application form for MD/MS/MDS programs: Rs. 2000/-.
Cost of application form for M.Pharm/M.Sc (Nursing) programs: Rs. 1000/-.
Selection Procedure-
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in All India Common Entrance Examination.

Last date for issue and receipt of filled in application form:Thursday, January 21, 2016.
Date of entrance examination: Friday, January 29, 2016.
For M.Pharm/M.Sc (Nursing) Programs:
