AILET Counselling 2026 LIVE Updates: Invitee list, registration and important instructions

The AILET Counselling 2026 invites for category-wise eligible candidates will be sent out today, i.e., December 19, 2025, till 6 PM onwards. Students will receive their counselling invites for registration via email or SMS to their registered contact details. The counselling registration will be conducted from December 19, 2025, 6 PM to December 27, 2025, 11 AM. The counselling registration will soon be followed by the announcement of the first list of provisionally shortlisted candidates on January 8, 2026. Students will be invited for counselling participation based on the AILET 2026 merit list, and approximately three times the number of candidates will be allowed to participate, corresponding to the number of seats available in each student category.

Documents Required for AILET Counselling 2026

Here is the list of required documents to participate in AILET Counselling 2026:

• AILET Admit Card 2026

• AILET 2026 Scorecard

• Classes 10th and 12th Marksheets

• Classes 10th and 12th School Certificates

• Character Certificate

• Transfer/Migration Certificate

• Graduation Certificate for the LL.M. and PhD programs

• Caste Category Certificate (if applicable)

• Self-Attested Copy of Date of Birth Certificate

• Government-Issued Identification Proof (Aadhar Card/Voter’s Card/Passport)

The NLU Delhi is offering a total of 120 seats through the AILET counselling 2026 for B.A. LL.B Hons. program. According to its seat reservation policy, a 5% horizontal reservation is provided to the PwD candidates across all student categories in the counselling. Seats will be offered to the OBC candidate under the 22% reservation quota, while the SC and ST categories will enjoy 15% and 7.5% seat reservation in the AILET Counselling 2026. A total of 10% seats will be reserved for the EWS category students.
