A total of 90 seats are available for admission to class 6 in the Sainik School Kunjpura (Haryana). Out of these, 80 seats will be reserved for boys, including 55 seats in the Home state, and 25 for Other states. The remaining 10 seats will be equally redistributed to Home and other state girls. It is one of the first five schools established by the Sainik School Society, New Delhi in 1961. Hence, it is the oldest and most well-structured school to prepare boys academically, mentally, and physically for entry into the National Defence Academy.
