CUET PG Exam Date 2026: The National Testing Agency announced CUET PG Exam Date 2026 on February 14, which includes a subject-wise schedule. Candidates will be able to check the complete schedule atexams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg, and the date sheet has been provided here as well. The exam timetable was released in pdf format. Only those candidates who carry the admit card will be allowed to sit for the test on the scheduled dates. After preparing the syllabus, candidates should sit for mock tests to evaluate their performance, know their strengths and weaknesses and accordingly revise the curriculum for better revision - https://nta.ac.in/Student. The mock test interface is most likely to resemble the interface of the actual test day.

CUET PG 2026 Subject-wise Date Sheet PDF

The examination will be held from March 6 to 27 with 3 shifts on each day.The first shift will be held from 9 AM to 10:30 AM, the second shift will be conducted from 12:45 to 2:15 PM, and Shift 3 will be conducted from 4:30 to 6 PM. With over 4 lakh students and 157 different subjects, the "mapping process" is incredibly complex. Since most of the candidates have picked multiple papers, the NTA has to cross-check every single application to ensure no one ends up with two exams at the same time.

CUET PG Exam Date 2026 LIVE Updates

  • Feb 12, 2026 12:20 PM IST

Is the interface different for Sanskrit-based domain subjects?

Yes. In the mock test for Acharya papers, all 75 questions are displayed in Sanskrit (except for specific Hindu Studies codes). If you are appearing for these, ensure your Candidate Login practice sessions include the Sanskrit keyboard/font rendering to avoid technical surprises on the actual CUET PG Exam Date 2026.

  • Feb 12, 2026 12:00 PM IST

What is the most important technical habit to master this week?

The "Clear Response" button. If you realize an answer is wrong after clicking it, use "Clear Response" before selecting a new one to ensure the system registers your latest choice correctly.

  • Feb 12, 2026 11:40 AM IST

For codes like COQP11 or COQP12, which section should I solve first?

Mock Test data suggests starting with "General Awareness" or "Computer Basics" (approx. 10–15 mins) to bank quick marks, leaving the bulk of your 90 minutes for "Quant" and "Reasoning."

  • Feb 12, 2026 11:20 AM IST

Is it a bad sign if I skip 15 out of 75 questions in a mock test?

Not at all. High-percentile scorers often skip 10–20% of the paper to avoid negative marks. During your revision, treat "Skipping" as a strategic move.

  • Feb 12, 2026 11:00 AM IST

How do I handle 50-50 questions where two options look correct?

Never "blind guess." In your mock test revision, practice the Elimination Method: find reasons why three options are wrong rather than why one is right. This disciplined approach minimizes the impact of the -1 negative marking.

  • Feb 12, 2026 10:40 AM IST

How do I know which unit in my CUET PG 2026 Syllabus needs one final look?

After completing a mock test, review the "Subject-Wise Accuracy" report. Focus your final 48 hours only on the units where your accuracy dropped below 60%. This "Targeted Revision" is the fastest way to boost your final score.

  • Feb 12, 2026 10:20 AM IST

Does the mock test interface automatically save my answers?

Only if you click "Save & Next". Simply clicking an option and moving to the next question via the palette does not save your response. Practice this specific mouse-click sequence during your revision to avoid a 0-score disaster on the final exam day.

  • Feb 12, 2026 10:00 AM IST

What happens if a mock test question seems incorrect?

In the actual exam, if a question is dropped by NTA, all candidates receive +4 marks. During revision, if you encounter a suspected error, move on immediately. Do not waste more than 90 seconds on a single question, as per the guidelines on the NTA CUET PG 2026 Official Website.

  • Feb 12, 2026 09:40 AM IST

How can I improve my speed for the calculation-heavy units in the syllabus?

Since no virtual calculator is provided, your mock test revision should include manual calculations on paper. Practicing mental math for squares, roots, and percentages will save precious seconds during the 90-minute sprint on the test day.

  • Feb 12, 2026 09:20 AM IST

Will my answer be evaluated if I select an option and then "Mark for Review"?

Yes. In the 2026 CBT interface, an answered question that is "Marked for Review" will be evaluated. However, a question only marked for review without an answer will not. Use your Candidate Login to practice with the color-coded palette so you can navigate the final exam with total clarity.

  • Feb 12, 2026 09:00 AM IST

How can I avoid missing easy questions at the end of the 75-question set?

Practice the "Two-Pass" strategy during every mock test. Spend the first 40 minutes solving direct, factual questions. Use the remaining 50 minutes for numericals or complex logic. This ensures you see all 75 questions before the server-side timer on the NTA CUET PG 2026 Official Website expires.

  • Feb 12, 2026 08:40 AM IST

How do I handle difficult chapters in the CUET PG 2026 Syllabus during these final weeks?

Use mock test results to identify "Negative Yield" topics. Because of the -1 marking rule, revision should prioritize accuracy. If a specific unit consistently leads to wrong answers in your Candidate Login practice history, shift your focus to strengthening your high-accuracy zones instead.

  • Feb 12, 2026 08:20 AM IST

What is the ideal time per question I should target during my daily practice?

With the new 90-minute limit, you have approximately 72 seconds per question. When conducting a mock test at home, use a timer to simulate the official pressure.

  • Feb 12, 2026 08:00 AM IST

Should my final revision still include General Aptitude (Section A) topics?

No. As per the latest updates on the NTA CUET PG 2026 Official Website, Section A has been removed for most subjects. Your revision must now focus 100% on a mock test structure that contains 75 domain-specific questions. Verify your specific paper code in the Candidate Login to ensure you aren't revising redundant sections.

  • Feb 12, 2026 07:40 AM IST

Is there a way to experience the 2026 interface before the actual exam day?

Yes. NTA has activated the Student Registration for Mock Tests at designated TPCs. You can log in to the NTA CUET PG 2026 Official Website, find a nearby center, and book a slot to practice on the actual CBT (Computer Based Test) software used for the March session.

  • Feb 12, 2026 07:20 AM IST

What happens if I skip a question that NTA later declares as "wrong"?

If a question is dropped due to a technical error or incorrect framing, all candidates will receive +4 marks, regardless of whether they attempted it or not. However, if a question has multiple correct options, only those who selected one of the correct ones will get marks.

  • Feb 12, 2026 07:00 AM IST

Can I bring my own scribe, or will NTA provide one at the center?

You have both options. If you bring your own scribe, you must submit a Letter of Undertaking through the Candidate Login before the exam. PwBD candidates are also entitled to 20 minutes of compensatory time per hour, extending their total exam duration to 120 minutes for the 75-question paper.

  • Feb 12, 2026 06:40 AM IST

If my shift has a harder paper than the morning shift, will I lose marks?

No. NTA uses the Equi-Percentile Method to normalize scores across multiple shifts. This means your rank is calculated relative to candidates in your own shift first. Your final "NTA Score" is a normalized value, ensuring fairness regardless of paper difficulty.

  • Feb 12, 2026 06:20 AM IST

Can I select two circles on the screen if I think both are right?

No. Selecting more than one option for a single question is treated as an incorrect answer, resulting in -1 mark. Always stick to one choice per MCQ.

  • Feb 12, 2026 06:00 AM IST

What happens if NTA realizes a question has two correct answers after the exam?

If a question has two correct options, only those who marked either of the correct options will get +4 marks. If a question is dropped entirely due to a technical error, all candidates get +4 marks regardless of whether they tried it.

  • Feb 12, 2026 05:40 AM IST

I am taking the COQP11 paper; how many questions are from the Constitution?

Despite being a Law entrance, the COQP11 pattern is Aptitude-heavy. It consists of General Knowledge (35%), Logical Reasoning (30%), English (25%), and Computer Basics (10%). Legal reasoning is technically not a standalone section, though Polity is a major part of GK.

  • Feb 12, 2026 05:20 AM IST

If I select "English" as my medium, will I see the Hindi translation?

Most papers (Humanities, Sciences, and Common) are Bilingual (English & Hindi). However, M.Tech and Higher Sciences are exclusively in English. Acharya papers are in Sanskrit. For all others, the English version is treated as final in case of any translation disputes.

  • Feb 12, 2026 05:00 AM IST

Should I attempt all 75 questions even if I am unsure?

No. The Negative Marking rule is strictly -1 for every incorrect response. Leaving a question unattempted results in 0 marks. Because one wrong answer wipes out 25% of a correct one, precision is your best friend

  • Feb 12, 2026 04:40 AM IST

Does the number of questions vary for different subjects like MBA vs. Physics?

No. Every single subject code in the CUET PG 2026 Syllabus follows a uniform structure of 75 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Whether you are appearing for COQP12 (MBA) or SCQP17 (Life Sciences), the quantity remains the same.

  • Feb 12, 2026 02:00 AM IST

With no Section A, how is the weightage shifting in the COQP12 paper?

Since the entire paper is now domain-based, Data Interpretation (DI) and Logical Reasoning have expanded to cover nearly 50% of the exam. Candidates are focusing on Pie Charts, Line Graphs, and Coding-Decoding as these provide the fastest route to a 250+ score.

In 2025, the NTA moved toward a more centralized release, making city slips for most subjects available around the same time. However, the Admit Cards remained phased. Where Can You Access Official mock tests and CUET PG Previous Year Question Paper?

The NTA has refreshed the Test Practice Centre (TPC) links on its official portal as of February 2026. Always remember to log out properly, especially when using public computers at cyber cafes, to keep your personal data secure.

  • Feb 11, 2026 03:20 PM IST

Why am I seeing an "Invalid Credentials" or "Login Failed" error?

Even with the correct details, you might face login errors due to technical reasons. First, ensure there are no extra spaces before or after your application number when copying/pasting. If the error persists, try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies or switching to Incognito Mode (Private Browsing). The portal works best on updated versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. If you are using a mobile device, try switching to a desktop or laptop for a more stable connection.

  • Feb 11, 2026 03:00 PM IST

Will the CUET PG 2026 Exam Be Conducted in Hybrid Mode?

Unlike the UG version, the CUET PG 2026 will be 100% Computer-Based (CBT). There is no "pen-and-paper" or hybrid option available for any of the postgraduate subjects. The NTA has streamlined the process to a digital-only format across all 292 test cities. This means candidates must be comfortable navigating a computer interface, as the 90-minute timer and the 75 multiple-choice questions will all be managed through an on-screen console. Practicing with online mock tests is highly recommended to get used to this interface.

Is the CUET PG 2026 Correction Window Still Open?

The official correction window for CUET PG 2026 is now closed, having concluded on January 30, 2026. This was the final opportunity for students to edit their personal details, change subject codes, or update their city preferences. If you missed this deadline, the NTA generally does not allow further changes to the application form. However, candidates should carefully review their City Intimation Slip (expected in the first week of March) to confirm that the details reflecting in the system are correct before the final admit cards are generated.

When can students download the CUET PG 2026 Admit Card?

Admit cards are scheduled to be released in phases starting from March 7–9, 2026. The NTA typically issues hall tickets 3 to 4 days before each specific exam date. For example, if your exam is on March 13, your admit card will likely be available by March 9. You will need your application number and date of birth to download it. Ensure you check the admit card for your specific shift timing and reporting time, as the gate closing rules will be strictly enforced.

What is the update on the City Intimation Slip for 2026?

To help candidates with travel arrangements, the NTA will likely activate the Advance City Intimation Link in the first week of March 2026. This slip is not the admit card; it simply informs you of the specific city where your exam center will be located. Since the exam is being held in 292 cities (down from previous years), knowing your allotted city early is vital for booking transport and accommodation, especially for those assigned to centers outside their home town.

Is There a Change in the Number of Test Cities?

A major logistical update for 2026 is the reduction in the number of exam centers. The CUET PG will now be held in 292 cities, including 16 international locations, which is a slight decrease from previous years. To help students, the NTA has allowed candidates to choose up to four preferred cities during the application process. The goal is to ensure that every student is allotted a center within their own state or a nearby region, making it easier for candidates to reach their venues during the busy 10–12 day exam window.

How Has the Exam Duration and Question Count Changed?

Along with the syllabus revision, the exam structure has been tightened. The total number of questions has been reduced from 100 to 75 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Correspondingly, the exam duration is now 90 minutes instead of the earlier 105-minute window. This change requires candidates to have a much higher speed and accuracy rate. Since each correct answer earns 4 marks and an incorrect one loses 1 mark, the total weightage stands at 300 marks, making every question vital for your final merit rank.

Is Section A Still Part of the CUET PG 2026 Syllabus?

The most critical update for 2026 is the complete removal of Section A (General Aptitude). In previous years, candidates faced 25 questions on general awareness and reasoning. However, the NTA has officially scrapped this section to streamline the process. The 2026 syllabus now focuses exclusively on Domain Knowledge, meaning all 75 questions will be strictly from your chosen subject. This allows students to dedicate their entire preparation time to their core academic area without worrying about general math or English sections.
