Aliah University Invites Applications for M.Sc Statistics

Aliah University, Kolkata has released admission notification for the admission intoM.Sc Statisticsprogramme. The admissions will be conducted based on the marks secured in the entrance test conducted by the University. Here is the detailed insight of notification:-

Eligibility:-

• 40%of marks inStatistics (Honours)or50%of marks inMathematics (Honours)is mandatory from any recognised University.
• The candidates satisfying the above criterion can apply for the entrance test.

Important Dates:-

• The last date to apply for the entrance test is19-July-2016.
• The list of candidates who have been shortlisted for the entrance test will be available on the University website on21-July-2016.
• The entrance test will be held on25-July-2016
• The results of the entrance test will be announced on26-July-2016

Application Procedure:-

• The applications can be downloaded from the University’s website.
• The filled in applications must be sent along with DD of Rs. 500/- for male candidates and Rs. 300/- for female candidates payable in favour of Aliah University.
• The application forms and DD must be sent to Aliah University, Action Area-IIA/27, New Town, Kolkatta-700156.
