Rayalaseema and certain coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh have been receiving heavy rains on October 23 and there is a similar situation on October 24 as well. Know if there is a chance of a school holiday in Andhra Pradesh on 24 October 2025.
Andhra Pradesh School Holiday Update 24 October 2025:On October 21 and 22, holiday was declared for schools in Nellore and Tirupati districts of Andhra Pradesh due to heavy rains. From the early hours of October 23, Rayalaseema and a few coastal districts have been receiving heavy rains. As per the IMD prediction, rains might continue on October 24 and 25 as well. A school holiday might be announced where the rain conditions are extreme/ extreme flood-like situation scenario. District Collectors are responsible for deciding on the school holiday based on the weather conditions. If there is heavy rain during the late night of October 23 and the early hours of October 24, a school holiday might be announced.
