AP-ICET 2017 Results Declared, Boys Outshine Girls
- The overall pass percentage was 86.56. Out of the qualified candidates, 38,835 were boys and 24,056 were girls. 71 transgender candidates also qualified in the examination.
- Manoj Meka secured the first rank and stood as the state topper. He secured 189.93 marks.
The results of Andhra Pradesh ICET or AP-ICET 2017 examination released on May 15, 2017, by HRD Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Ganta Srinivasa Rao at Vijayawada. This year, Sri Venkateswara University conducted AP-ICET examination for the admission to MCA and MBA courses.
On this occasion, Mr. Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced that a total number of 54,503 candidates have qualified in the examination out of 62,962 candidates. The overall pass percentage was 86.56. Out of the qualified candidates, 38,835 were boys and 24,056 were girls. Interestingly, 71 transgender candidates also qualified in the examination this year.

The HRD Minister of the state also announced the list of toppers in AP-ICET 2017. The toppers are: -
- Manoj Meka secured the first rank and stood as state topper. He secured 189.93 marks.
- The second topper is NNV. Lakshmi Prasanna. She scored 155.13 marks.
- I. Sowjanya bagged the third rank be scoring 153.91 marks.

HRD Minister congratulated all the candidates who qualified in the examination. He announced that the official schedule from counselling would be available on the official website soon. The State Council for Higher Education or SCHE will conduct web counselling this year.
The candidates who qualified in AP-ICET 2017 need to make all the documents ready for the certificate verification process. SCHE will set up helpline centres, and the candidates need to get their certificates verified in the helpline centres. The schedule for the same will be released soon on the official website of SCHE.
