APSET 2025 application form will open on January 9 for candidates seeking eligibility for Assistant Professor and Lecturer roles in Andhra Pradesh. Aspirants should complete their registration and pay the required fee online.
APSET 2025 Application Form: The Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) 2025 notification has been released at the official website, and the application process will start from January 9, 2026. The exam is held by Andhra University on behalf of the State of Andhra Pradesh to be qualified for the post of Assistant Professor for various colleges and universities within the state. Eligible candidates who have post graduate degree can apply online through the official website within the given time limit by filling out the application form, uploading the necessary documents, and paying the application fee as per the category. Candidates are requested to complete the procedure well in time to avoid a last-minute rush of payment of fees and last-minute technical issues. The Examination is scheduled to be held on April 28 and 29, 2026 , at various centres across the state.
Who is Eligible to Apply for APSET 2025?
The APSET 2025 eligibility criteria have been prescribed by the organisation, and candidates who meet the minimum educational qualification are eligible to apply for the exam.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree from a recognised university by the UGC.
General / EWs candidates should have a minimum 55% of marks in the Master’s Degree.
BC / SC / ST / PwD / Transgender candidates can apply with 50% marks.
Final Year Candidates, those who are in the final year of a Master’s degree, can also apply.
There is no age limit for writing the APSET exam.
APSET is valid only in Andhra Pradesh for Assistant Professor posts.
Fees Details for APSET 2025 Application Form
The amount of the APSET 2025 application fee is different for each category of candidate and is to be remitted online at the time of application.
- General: Rs. 1,600
- BC (A/B/C/D/E) and EWS: Rs. 1,300
- SC / ST / PwD / Transgender: Rs. 900
- For Mode of Payment: Online (Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking)
Note: Service charges and Taxes (if any) will be borne by the candidate as per the guidance of the payment gateway.
The submission of application forms will be made online through the official APSET portal only. The aspirants have to register themselves on the official website and provide personal, academic, and contact information, select the subject they want to apply for, upload required scanned documents such as a photograph and signature, and pay the registration fee according to their category as stated above.
