Australia’s Macquarie University to Introduce New Programme on Cyber Security

Macquarie UniversityAustralia is introducing a new master’s programme in cybersecurity. This new programme in an interdisciplinary programme between the faculty of art, science and business. The new course incybersecurityis built with a holistic approach for the overall development of the students.

The science faculty at the university will provide candidates with knowledge about coding and protection of computer systems and security of the software. The business division will offer knowledge about managerial and economic aspects and those in arts will seek information about training the stakeholders involved and about the traits and psyche of the cybercriminals. This programme in masters will help the students to seek theoretical and practical knowledge about the cybersecurity and to be ahead of breaches. The admission process is starting from July 2018.
