CAT Topper Interview 2023: Kumar Sai Vishnu, the twenty-year-old CAT 2023 topper from Visakhapatnam, one of the only three candidates from non-engineering who achieved 100 percentile marks in the recently released CAT Result 2023 shared his journey. A total of 14 students scored 100 percentile in the country. Sai Vishnu has completed his B.Sc (Statistics) from Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), Visakhapatnam. This was the second time he appeared for the CAT examination. He scored 95.6 percentile in the previous year in CAT 2022. CAT Topper Interview 2023: Kumar Sai Vishnu Shares His Journey to Score 100 Percentile
Sharing his mantra for success in the prestigious management entrance exam with The Indian Express, Sai Vishnu shared that he is confident of getting a seat in either IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore or IIM Calcutta to pursue an MBA.
To a surprise for many, Vishnu revealed that he did not attend any coaching classes to aid his studies for CAT 2023. Most of his preparation included solving the CAT previous years' question papers and mock tests.
He shared that his daily study routine for CAT Preparation included reading at least one article on the internet from one topic of his CAT 2023 Syllabus. This made his basic concepts content and added confidence to answer any new question.
The prodigy from Vizag who studied nearly three hours every day for his preparation said that upskilling yourself is the biggest help in the CAT preparation strategy. This will help in the lifelong intelligence of the candidate as well.
Vishnu heavily relied upon the CAT previous papers that he attained from the top coaching institutes like Career Launcher and tried to pace up with one test every day.
