CIPET, Chennai Announces CIPET Joint Entrance Exam'16

Central Institute of Plastic Engineering Technology is open for admission to the following programs for the academic year 2016 through CIPET Joint Entrance Exam (CIPET Chennai JEE).

• Diploma
• Post Diploma
• Post Graduate Diploma
• Doctoral Programs (CIPET)

Who can Apply:

• Postgraduate Diploma in Plastics Processing & Testing (PGD-PPT): (1½ years)
  Age: Maximum age 25 years
  Entry qualification: 3 year Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects
• Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Testing & Quality Management (PGD-PTQM): (1½ years)
  Age: Maximum age 25 years
  Entry qualification: 3 year Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects
• Post Diploma in Plastics Mould Design with CAD/CAM: (1½ years)
  Age: Maximum age 25 years
  Entry qualification: 3 year Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics Technology, Tool/Production Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Tool & Die Making, DPMT/DPT (CIPET) or equivalent
• Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT): (3 years)
  Age: Maximum age 20 years
  Entry qualification: Candidates should have passed Class 10 or School Secondary level exam with English and Science and Maths as compulsory papers from any recognized board of exam
• Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT): (3 years)
  Age: Maximum age 20 years
  Entry qualification: Candidates should have passed Class 10 or school secondary level exam with English and Science and Maths as compulsory papers from any recognized board of exam

How to Apply:

• Information Brochure and Application form can be obtained from any of CIPET Centres against payment of Rs.250/- for general candidates and Rs.50/- for SC/ST candidates in cash or Demand Draft drawn in favour of "CIPET" payable at Chennai
• Candidates belonging to Northeastern states can get the application forms free of cost by producing their residential proof / appropriate support documents

Who will be Selected:

• Students will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Joint Entrance Examination
