CISCE Announces Dates of ISC & ICSE Examinations
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the timetable for the class 12th (ISC) and 10th (ICSE) examinations to be held in 2017.
It is almost time for the exam season to begin again for the students studying in class 10th and 12th under the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The council has announced the timetable for class 12th (ISC) and class 10th (ICSE) examinations to be held in 2017.

The ISC examinations will commence from Monday, 6 February 2017 at 9.00 am. The first paper will be of Physics - Paper 2 (Practical). The exams will continue till 5th April 2017.
The ICSE examinations will start from Monday, 27 February 2017 at 11.00 am with English Language paper. The exams will continue till 31st March 2017.
Besides the time indicated on the timetable of the exam for writing the paper, 15 minutes of extra time is given for reading the question paper. That means, the question paper will be distributed to candidates in the exam hall at 10:45 am so that they can start writing at 11:00 am. Similarly, the question papers for theory examinations will be distributed to the candidates at 1.45 pm so that they can start writing at 2.00 pm.

Besides conducting these exams, the council also conducts the Albert Barrow Memorial All-India Inter-School Creative Writing competitions and the Frank Anthony Memorial All-India Inter-School Debate to inculcate a sense of creativity in students. They also work towards enhancing the ability to express one's thoughts in speech and writing in school education. The council also carries out training on several other segments of education so as to improve the teaching practices in the classroom.
