CSIR UGC NET 2022 to be conducted in September 2022: CSIR HRDG

CSIR UGC NET 2022: The Human Resource Development Group of CSIR conveyed through a tweet on June 27, 2022 that CISR UGC NET examination would be conducted in the month of September 2022. While the tentative date has been given, the exact details and schedule of the examination will be updated in due time on the exam’s official website.

Like every year, this year too, CISR UGC NET will be conducted by the National Test Agency (NTA). While the notification for CSIR NET 2022 was expected to be released by May or June, it can now be expected to be released in July 2022. Once the notification is released, NTA will allow up to a month’s time for registration and submission of the application form. Like 2021, it is also expected that CSIR UGC NET 2022 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

As the session for CSIR NET has been delayed, worries about a possible delay for December 2022 session have also been surfacing. The pandemic has already delayed the previous years’ sessions and is affecting this year too. However, it is expected that NTA will take enough measures to restore the pre-pandemic academic sessions.
