CTET 2021 Paper 1 exam has been conducted on 27th December 2021, in the morning session. The duration of the exam was 9:30 AM to 12 PM. The exam was conducted for multiple sections: Language (Hindi & English), Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Each section in the paper had 30 questions and the paper had been conducted for a total of 150 questions. Full marks for the exam was 150 with no negative marking.

Major Highlights of CTET 27th December 2021 Paper 1 Analysis (First Reaction)

Some of the major highlights of CTET 27th December 2021 Paper 1 analysis are as follows:

  • The overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate to tough. There were tricky questions and the students were not able to attempt all the questions within exam hours.
  • The CDP paper was also of moderate difficulty level. Questions were asked from Piaget, Vygotsky, NCF, NEP, etc. All the questions were concept-based.
  • 2 Questions were asked from Howard Gardners in the CDP section.
  • Students found the EVS section to be tough. Questions were asked from regions, charts, greenhouse gases, plants, etc. Some formula-based questions were also asked.
  • There were tricky questions in EVS and very few questions were asked from NCERT.
  • The Mathematics section was easy to moderate. Questions were asked from Piaget in Maths too. Other questions were from speed, time, position, etc.
  • The language paper was also moderate. Questions were asked from types of languages, teaching languages, passage, etc. Students found the passage a bit tough.
