CTET February 2026 Application Form to Re-Open on December 27: Last chance to register for the exam
CBSe has decided to reopen its CTET February 2026 application form window from December 27 - 30, 2025, for those candidates who were unable to complete their registration before. No new registrations will be allowed during this window.
CBSE recently released a notice explaining the reopening of CTET February 2026 application form. Based on the notice, the CTET registration will be made available from December 27 to 30, 2025. This decision came in after the authority received bundles of requests stating their failure to complete their registration due to the non-responsiveness of the portal. Moreover, it must be noted that the authority has reopened the CTET February application submission window only for those candidates who couldn’t complete their registration before. No new registration is allowed during this duration.

- The CTET exam application was previously available from November 27 to December 18, 2025. However, due to the continuous grievances of candidates stating their inability to submit their applications due to portal issues, the authority decided to reopen the application window from December 27 - 30, 2025.
- This window has been reopened strictly for only those candidates who had initiated the registration process can complete their applications during this period. They are advised to carefully verify their details and make necessary corrections before submitting their final application. No fresh registrations will be allowed during this time, and no further opportunities for corrections will be provided after this final submission window.
- Upon investigation, it was found that a total of 25,30,581 candidates successfully applied. Of these, 3,53,218 candidates submitted their applications on the second-last day, and 4,14,981 candidates did so on the last day. Additionally, it was noted that 1,61,127 incomplete registrations had not been completed or submitted as final applications.
In summary, CBSE has provided a one-time relief by reopening the CTET February 2026 application window from December 27 to 30, 2025, exclusively for candidates with incomplete registrations. This decision addresses genuine grievances while maintaining the integrity of the process by disallowing fresh registrations.
