CUET 2023 Day 3 Slot 2 Concluded: 69% Attendance Recorded
Day 3 shift 2 of the CUET UG 2023 exam is over. Notably, a commendable 69% attendance has been recorded, reflecting the dedication and commitment of the candidates toward their academic aspirations.
The ongoing Day 3 Shift 2 of CUET-UG is progressing smoothly across 246 cities and 287 centers, showcasing efficient management and execution. This session accommodated a substantial number of candidates, with a total of 34,240 individuals scheduled to appear. Notably, a commendable 69% attendance has been recorded, reflecting the dedication and commitment of the candidates toward their academic aspirations.
On the first day, there were 87,879 candidates in the first shift, 87,903 students in the second shift, and a remarkable 89,466 students in the third shift, which took place in 458 centers.

Professor M. Jagadesh Kumar, the UGC chairman, reported that the initial day of CUET-UG witnessed an impressive attendance rate of 76 percent, showcasing a notable increase compared to the approximate 62 percent turnout of the previous year.

To ensure a smooth examination process, students were instructed in their admit cards to enter examination centers in a staggered manner as per UGC guidelines. However, a few centers encountered delays due to some students arriving late, resulting in overcrowding. In order to prevent such situations in the future, appropriate administrative measures have been implemented. Furthermore, Professor M. Jagadesh Kumar emphasized the availability of essential amenities such as water, refreshments, covered shelters, and designated waiting areas for both candidates and their parents or guardians.
