30th Convocation of IIM Lucknow Concluded
The 30th annual convocation of the Indian Institute of Management-Lucknow (IIM-L) was held on 12th March, with 619 students being awarded their diplom
The 30thannual convocation of theIndian Institute of Management-Lucknow(IIM-L) was held on 12thMarch, with 619 students being awarded their diplomas by its director, Ajit Prasad.
IIM Lucknow’s Chairman and Board of Director Dr Jamshed G Irani, Director Dr Ajit Prasad, and chief guest CEO of InMobile Mr Naveen Tewari were present at the event. On the occasion, Irani advised the students to stay away from politics. Naveen Tewari founder and CEO of InMobi, who was the chief guest on the occasion advised the students just to do what they love and not to measure their success in terms of ratings.
The IIM L director Ajit Prasad congratulated the students and said that their success would be the success of institute and each small step taken by them would be an accomplishment for the institute.
Shreya Tiwari won the Chairman’s Gold Medal and Reshma Sareen Memorial medal for Best Girl Student. Abhinav Anand won the Director’s Medal, Riya Jain won the Director’s Medal, Anand Barot won the PGP Chairman’s Medal, Vaishali won the Bizkool Medal for the Best Student in Information Technology, Anika Malhotra won the Hari Shankar Singhania Medal for Best All Rounder and Pooja Agarwal won the Budhiraja Medal for Best All Rounder.
From the post graduate programme in management for working executives, Dipesh Jain won the Chairman’s Gold Medal and Mohit Garg won the Director’s Medal. From the International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX), the following were the award winners: Aniruddha Banerjee won the Chairman’s Gold Medal, Ananya Phani won the Chairman’s Gold Medal, Tapas Sapra won the Director’s Medal.
The convocation was held at the IIM-L ground. Total 405 students from the 30th batch of the post-graduate programme in management, while 40 students from the 10th batch of the post-graduate programme in agriculture business management, 7 students from the doctoral programme, 103 students from working executives PGM and 64 students from the international programme in management for executives were also present at the event.
