The annual festival of Babu Banarasi Das (BBD) university, ‘Utkarsh-2016’, is being organised from March 10 to 12 in Lucknow. More than 20000 students from Lucknow campus and 5,000 from other colleges across north India are expected to participate in the function this year.
'Utkarsh' an annual function of BBD draws the best talents of north India and provides a platform to the students for competing in music, drama, quizzes, sports and literary and technical events. This 3 Days fest will witness a wide range of events in various categories.This year the theme of ‘Utkarsh-2016’ is ‘SMILE-CART’.
The tagline for this event is ‘There is always a reason to smile’. The three-day event is being organised by a team of faculty members and students of BBD. The fest will be inaugurated on Thursday by Vice-Chancellor, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Vinay Kumar Pathak.
