International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad has announced examination dates for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE), to be held in the month of April this year.

Eligibility Criteria for IIIT-H PGEE 2016:

For M.Tech Programs:

• BE/B.Tech in Engineering (any branch including CS/IT/ ECE/ EEE/ Civil/ Instrumentation/ Biotechnology)
• B.Arch. or master's degree in Science/ Maths/ IT/ Computer Science or MCA

For M.S by Research Programs:

• M.E/M.Tech.

For Ph.D. Programs:

• M.E/M.Tech.
• Masters degree in Social Sciences or Humanities (only for the Ph.D. program in Spatial Informatics and Exact Humanities)

Application Procedure for IIIT-H PGEE 2016:

Application forms available at the official website of the University. Aspirants can use the online mode to apply from 20 January 2016 (Wednesday).

Question Paper Pattern for IIIT-H PGEE 2016:

The entrance examination consists of two papers: (No negative marking)

Paper I: General aptitude paper-Objective

Objective Duration: 1 ½ hours

(Compulsory for everyone). This is objective type question paper and will emphasize on basic aptitude, logical reasoning, basic questions on computers and mathematics.

Paper II: Objective paper (Paper II)

• Electronics and Communications Engineering (Objective and Subjective)
• Structural Engineering (Subjective)
• Computational Natural Sciences and Bioinformatics Objective

Last date for the submission of applications: 31 March 2016 (Thursday).

Last date for the receipt of application fee through online payment: 31 March 2016 (Thursday).

Admit cards will be made available for download in PDF format: 09 April 2016 (Saturday).
