FLAME University to Introduce PGP in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from July 2020

FLAME University is set to provide top-quality education to the students through a variety of courses that they offer. Adding to the list of courses offered by the university, a new Postgraduate programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (PGP EI) has been released by the university. Currently, FLAME University is accepting applications to the PGP EI programme.

In the press release that had been issued by the University, through the programme, they aim to produce the next generation of high impact entrepreneurs. The programme will be conducted for a duration of one year, which will begin in July 2020. The notification also mentioned that the programme will be conducted in FLAME University Pune.

FLAME University PGP in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

According to FLAME University, PGP in Entrepreneurship and Innovation has been designed by acclaimed innovation experts, industry experts and faculty. Under the programme, the students will gain the opportunity of interacting and learning from different mentors like Rupen Jhaveri, Hari Menon, Saras D Sarasvathy, Manish Chokhani, Prasanna Krishnamoorthy, and many more experts.

The course structure for the PGP in Entrepreneurship and Innovation has been designed as a four-module programme, where the students will be offered opportunities to work on LIVE start-up projects in the first two modules of the course. This will be followed by an incubation of new business ventures either individual or group in the last two modules of the programme.

The University states that the programme has been designed to promote learning through practice and is outcome-based as well. Students will be given the opportunities to learn and practice decision-making like Lean Startup and Effectuation, which have been deemed successful in establishing new ventures.

FLAME University PGP EI Admissions 2020

As mentioned above, the university is currently accepting applications to the PGP Entrepreneurship and Innovation for the batch of 2020. It should also be noted that the University is also offering a host of scholarships based on the merit of the applicant. The merit-based scholarships will result in either partial or full fee-waivers. The University will be accepting applications to the programme on a rolling basis.

FLAME University PGP EI Eligibility Criteria 2020

Among the candidates who can qualify the FLAME University PGP EI eligibility criteria 2020;

• Candidates who have cleared the graduation in any stream from any discipline are eligible for the programme

• Candidates with 1 or 2 years of work experience will be preferred by the university for the selection process.

• Candidates who have a family business and are aiming at expanding their operations will benefit from the programme along with any individual who wishes to build a next-generation business venture.

FLAME University PGP EI Selection Process 2020

The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the programme and complete the application process will be able to go through the FLAME University PGP EI selection process 2020. As per the university, candidates will be shortlisted based on the submission of an application form, a statement of purpose as well as their performance in the personal interview and the entrance exam, along with other criteria. Flame University will be conducting their Personal Interview across centres located throughout India.

Along with learning opportunities in the field of business and management, the students will also be exposed to other topics such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Blockchain Robotics, Internet of Things, AR/VR and many more new-age technologies. The students will also be taught methods to determine opportunities with high potential as well as develop different execution capabilities.
