Founder of ‘Super 30’ Anand Kumar Felicitated by India-American Community in US
Vice-President of Federation of Indian Associations, Mr. Alok Kumar presented a plaque to Mr. Anand Kumar.
Indian-American community felicitated founder of ‘Super 30’ Mr. Anand Kumar in the United States or the US for his significant contribution in training the economically weaker students to get seats in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
During the felicitation ceremony, Ramesh Patel, Federation of Indian Associations, praised Mr. Anand Kumar for his idea of picking up students from the low-income background and training them to crack JEE Advanced examination free of cost or at the nominal fee. The felicitation ceremony was organised by Bihar and Jharkhand Association of North America or BAJANA.

Vice-President of Federation of Indian Associations, Mr. Alok Kumar presented a plaque to Mr. Anand Kumar. Praising Mr. Anand Kumar, VP of Federation of Indian Associations indicated that Super 30 programme has aided many students to get into Indian Institutes of Technology over seven years since inception.
Recently, Mr. Anand Kumar announced that Super 30 programme is also open for the candidates from other states besides Bihar. The programme is open to poor and lower middle-class students. There is no change in the admission process to Super 30 programme and the applicants have to take an entrance examination. As per the admission policy of Super 30, only the shortlisted candidates will be taken into the programme from the academic sessions that begin in 2017 and 2018.

Every year, students who are trained from Super 30 get top ranks in JEE Advanced examination. Various international varsities and institutes have appreciated the initiative taken up by Mr. Anand Kumar.
