It is an intensive six-week programme which aims to enhance students knowledge in music and help them improvise their skills. The main aim of theSCPis to provide applicants with the necessary environment for musicianship under the supervision and guidance of proficient faculty.
The Summer Certificate Programme or theSCPwill focus on the following:
- Develop instrumental skills
- Imparting knowledge about music theory
- Teach students about the production of music
- Introduce students to the concepts ofraagaandtaal
- Familiarise them with different genres of music
Aditya Balani, Founder and Director,GMIstated that the institute is working hard to take musical education to next level and provide students with the global exposure in the world of music which is still a budding field in India. The summer programme will also include interactive sessions and workshops with international faculty.
