Govt. to Open Medical, Law and Sanskrit Colleges in Haryana

On Sunday, Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar announced that the government will open a medical college, a law college and a Sanskrit University in Panchkula.

Apart from this, another scheme of starting metro rail in the tri-city (Chandigarh-Mohali-Paunchkula) is also in process. This will benefit the residents of these cities to a great extent.

Local MLA Gian Chand Gupta raised many demands in the local “Vikas rally” held at sector 6. All of these were taken care of by the Chief Minister.

Furthermore, he also mentioned about the increase in the number of beds in the civil hospital by 200. Earlier there were 100 beds in the civil hospital, no there will be 300 beds in the civil hospital. Another change will be the opening of a multi skill centre and polytechnic centre which will spread across five acres of land in sector 26, a government senior secondary school on four acres of land in sector-25, Sanskrit Gurukul and a Sanskrit University in Mansa Devi Shrine Board Complex.

The Chief Minister assured that work for opening of National Institute of Fashion and Technology on 10 acres of land in Sector-23 would be started soon.

When asked about the issue of granting permission for construction of first floor on booths allotted by HUDA, Khattar said department concerned would be asked to ease the norms in the larger interest of the people.

He also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in International Yoga Day function to be held in Chandigarh on June 21.
