Gujarat University (GU) syndicate have cleared five new law colleges. The university also decided to issue fresh tenders for a sports complex and other buildings.
GU cleared the new law colleges which are likely to commence studies from this academic year. During the meeting, the GU also decided to take the third party opinion for the pedestrian lane which has been constructed outside the GU campus.
The university also decided to make another representation for the 167 employees who have been denied the fifth pay commission and retirement benefits.
