HP PAT, HP LEET 2020 Postponed, New Exam Date
Due to the lockdown and Coronavirus scare, HPTSB has postponed HP PAT and HP LEET 2020 which were scheduled to be conducted on May 17 and 24. The new exam dates will be announced soon.
The Himachal Pradesh Takniki Siksha Board (HPTSB) has postponed HP PAT and HP LEET 2020, which are conducted for Diploma and Lateral ENtry admissions. According to the previous schedule, the HP PAT was supposed to be conducted on May 17, while HP LEET was supposed to be conducted on May 24. The new exam date for these exams will be announced after May 31, 2020, considering the situations.
While HP PAT grants admission in first-year Diploma courses, HP LEET grants admission in 2nd-year Diploma courses through lateral entry.

Application Process for HPSTB Admissions 2020
Following is the step-by-step application process for applying in HPSTB:
The candidate must log on to hptechboard.com
After clicking on ‘Online Application 2020,’ he/she has to choose ‘polytechnic admission’ under PET or LEET as required by the candidate.
Then the candidate has to select ‘New Admissions.’
The page will redirect the candidate to a new page where he/she has to fill up his/her biodata and academic records.
After filling up all the required fields in the form, the candidate has to select ‘Submit.’
After submitting the form, the website will redirect the candidate to the online payment gateway where he/she can pay the application fees with his/her credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI.
Students who do not have access to online payment can also apply through Challan.
For admission in Polytechnic colleges under HPTSB (Himachal Pradesh Takniki Siksha Board) for 2020 academic year, the aspirant has to appear for counselling, the schedule for which will be announced shortly after the commencement of PAT and LEET examinations. The counselling authority will allocate preferred colleges to the polytechnic aspirants.
