<p>The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will be conducting the recruitment examination for the posts of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee.
The candidates should pull up their socks as only one day is left for the examination. The preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on October 3, October 4, October 10 and October 11 and the main examination will be conducted on October 31.
The paper pattern for preliminary examination will comprise of 100 questions based on Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. The duration of the exam will be of one hour. The main examination will consist of 200 objective type (multiple choice questions) each of 200 marks and carries a total of 200 marks.
The examination pattern is bifurcated into five sections i.e. Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness with special reference to the Banking Industry and Computer Knowledge. The duration of the exam is of two hours.
The candidates must note that there will be negative marking for wrong answers in both preliminary exam and main exam.
The candidates must carry the admit card at the examination center, failing which they will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
