Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations has begun the ICSE semester 2 exam on April 25, 2022. The exam will end on May 23, 2022. The Chemistry exam is scheduled to be held on May 13, 2022. The authorities have released the ICSE Chemistry Class 10 exam pattern on the official website, cisce.org. The results of ICSE Class 10th exams 2022 are expected by the third/ fourth week of June.

ICSE Class 10 Chemistry Semester 2 Exam Pattern 2022
ICSE Class 10 Chemistry is one of the heavy subjects containing lots of formulae, structures, various scientific concepts, reactions and the studies of compositions. In the ICSE Class 10 semester 2 exam, the candidates have to answer both MCQ based and subjective based questions. The ICSE Chemistry class 10 syllabus comprises three units, such as Metallurgy, Organic Chemistry and Study of Compounds.
- Total duration of time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Mode of examination: Offline (pen and paper based exam)
- Total maximum Marks: 40
- The candidates will not be allowed to write during the first 10 minutes of the exam, this time will need to spend for reading the questions
- The examination will be started from 11 am and the candidates will get the Chemistry question paper on 10.50 am
ICSE Chemistry Semester 2 Marking Scheme 2022
In the ICSE Chemistry Class 10 exam pattern, 80% marks will be allocated as external marks, whereas 20% is allocated for internal marks. The final marks are the aggregated score of both external and internal marks.
The candidates must attempt all the questions from Section A (compulsory questions) and any three questions from Section B (optional questions).
