IIMC is hiring engaging academic -cum- teaching associate for IIMC headquarters. IIMC will do the hiring on the contract basis. The interview will take place on August 28.
The Indian Institute of Mass Communication headquarters is hiring seven engaging academic- cum- teaching associates on the contract basis. IIMC headquarters are located in Jawaharlal Nehru University. According to the circular released by the institute, it will fill seven vacant posts in IIMC. The premier communication institute of India has set a few guidelines as eligibility criteria for applying in the posts.
The circular says that the candidate who has a masters degree in the field of mass communication or social science and has 3 years of experience in teaching are eligible to apply for the respective course. The interview will take place on 28th August 2019.
The selected candidates will be paid a remuneration of 35,000 per month.

The IIMC eligibility criteria for Academic Cum Teaching Associate Post is as follows:
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have a masters degree with a minimum of 50% marks in Journalism / Mass Communication or any other degree in the field of social sciences. Also, the candidate has to be fluent in Hindi and English.
Or
The candidate has a Post Graduate Diploma with a minimum 50% passing marks in any field of Journalism, Public Relation, Advertisement or Television and Radio with good command over English and Hindi languages.
Experience Required
The candidate must have experience for 3 years working with media or 3 years of experience in teaching media subjects.

- Assisting the programme or course director for smooth conduct of day-to-day affairs in the classes
- Ability to teach Post Graduate Diploma and check students’ assignments
- Provide help in managing the teaching and training in the department concerned
- Guide students in a professional and academic manner
- Assist programme director for giving students professional experiences like internship opportunities
- Complete assignments given by Project Director

There will be no pre-registration process for this recruitment. The notice has made it clear that the interested applicants must reach the institute before 30 minutes of the interview.
