JAC Chandigarh Second Seat Allotment 2022 Released: Direct Link, Reporting Process

JAC Chandigarh Seat Allotment 2022 for B.Tech and B.Arch admissions has been released online at jacchd.admissions.nic.in on September 26, 2022. Registered candidates can now check their seat allotment results for JAC Chandigarh Round 2 counselling using their JEE Main application number and password. If a seat is allotted, details of it will be displayed on the screen.

The candidates who have been allotted a seat must report online at the official website to i. To pay the online admission fee (of a seat is allotted for the first time), and ii. To submit their choice for Willingness of Upgradation. The online reporting must be done before September 28 (7 PM). If a candidate fails to do either within the given deadline, their provisionally allotted seat will stand cancelled. Also, if a candidate wishes to withdraw from the counselling, he/she may do so until September 28, 7 PM.

Details of the reporting process after the second seat allotment are as follows:

• After logging in at the portal using the direct link given above, the seat allotment details of the candidate will be displayed on the screen (if available). If candidates are allotted a seat for the first time shall do as instructed below:
  • Pay the admission fee online using debit/credit card, internet banking, or e-challan options. The admission fee to be paid is INR 40,000/-. Ensure sufficient balance/credit limit before making the transaction.
  • Once the fee is paid, candidates shall submit their choice of willingness for upgradation. If the candidate is satisfied with their current allotment, they shall select ‘No upgradation’ as their choice. However, if a candidate wishes further improvement in their college/course allotment, they shall select ‘Yes Upgradation’ as their choice.
• Once both the above activities are completed, an online provisional admission letter will be generated. It will detail the candidate’s seat allotment, fee payment details, and willingness for upgradation choice. Download the provisional allotment letter.
• Candidates who were earlier allotted a seat in the first counselling round need not pay the admission fee (if paid earlier) but such candidates must also submit their willingness for upgradation choice by reporting online.
